It’s been a while since I’ve posted a new edition of The HSP Revolution — in large part because I’ve been immersed in preparing for the launch of HopeGuide, an online community to support people healing from trauma, which I’ll be writing more about very soon.
Meanwhile, I wanted to recommend a new course for men created by my husband Matthew Green, and his great friend and long-time collaborator Daniel Simpson: A four-week online immersion to learn practical tools for enjoying better relationships.
For some men, the primary motivation for joining the course next month will be to improve relationships with partners. But the skills the group will be practicing will work to enrich any relationship, whether it be with friends, family or colleagues.
In Power To Relate, Matthew and Daniel will be sharing practical tools to:
Get clearer about how you feel
Recognise your triggers — so they don’t control you
Listen at a whole new level
Find the courage to say “yes” and “no” — and really mean it
Speak from the heart and share yourself more freely
Embody more of who you really are
Readers of The HSP Revolution can claim 10 percent off the course price of £175 by entering the code MEN10 when prompted. (This offer expires at 1000am UK time this Thursday).
Here’s Matthew’s explanation of why he and Daniel launched the course:
“Many times in my life I’ve struggled to share how I really feel because I was afraid of being rejected. I’ve also said ‘yes’ when I really meant ‘no,’ or shut down in ways that once served an intelligent function in keeping me safe, but hold me back as an adult.
“These are common patterns, but they rob our lives of spontaneity, connection and joy. The problem is that — even if we’re aware we’re missing the mark in some way — these patterns can be difficult to change. And that’s even harder when we go it alone.
“What’s so inspiring is that I’ve seen time and again how men coming together in confidential spaces can support each other to make far bigger breakthroughs, in a far shorter time, than we’d ever achieve by ourselves.
“With a few basic agreements in place to establish trust and safety, men naturally serve as mirrors and guides for one another — helping us to see our own outdated patterns more clearly, while spurring us to find the courage to change.”
Relational Precision
Matthew’s approach to this kind of work has been heavily influenced by his experiences in the two-year Timeless Wisdom Training, led by Thomas Hübl, which has involved intense practice in relating with greater depth, clarity and precision. (You can read more about Matthew’s journey to gain a deeper understanding of transgenerational and collective trauma in his Resonant World newsletter).
Daniel, for his part, will be drawing on a deep well of personal contemplative practice, and profound knowledge of yoga philosophy, to enrich the course — as well as his natural open-heartedness, and talents as an international facilitator. You can read more about his work at his AncientFutures newsletter:
Matthew and Daniel want to keep this group at an intimate size, so please do book early if you’re interested. (And don’t forget to enter the code MEN10 when prompted to claim your 10 percent discount).

Practicalities
Matthew and Daniel’s small-scale group meets on Sundays via Zoom (Nov 5, 12, 19 & 26, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, UK time).
There will be “homework” between weekly sessions, with ongoing discussions in a private WhatsApp group.
They will also share helpful resources on a dedicated website, including videos with practical guidance.
In exchange for the above, the investment — along with your presence — is £175.

I’m sure this will be an amazing course, and please do share this with any men you feel might be interested.
Until soon,
