💃 Start your weekend by shaking off the week together — just come as you are!
Over the last 20 years, I’ve explored many healing practices. Yet the one I return to again and again, is dance. It’s how I get out of my busy mind, connect with my heart, release stress and anger and simply be. Some of my happiest, most emotive, awe-inspiring memories are dancing in deserts, forests and on festival dance floors.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about creating community spaces, places where people can connect, slow down, and reconnect with themselves. In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, these evenings offer a nourishing, healing, and joyful atmosphere. Bringing Ecstatic Dance and movement into our South West London community is something I’m deeply excited about, and I can’t wait to welcome you to this space.
So I’m really excited to introduce our new community:
🌟 “Ecstatic Dance Twickenham.” 🌟
Join myself, Dr Genevieve von Lob (Clinical Psychologist), and Josh Silver (DJ, facilitator, and founder of Ecstatic Dance Somerset) for a heart-opening Friday evening of movement on 13th March 2026. Josh’s Ecstatic Dance is always a highlight of the Highly Sensitive Person retreat I co-facilitate each year in Devon and I’m thrilled to now bring that energy to Twickenham.
We’ll begin with a gentle welcome and optional warm cacao to help you arrive and settle followed by an immersive Ecstatic Dance journey.
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform movement practice with no choreography or performance expectations. You’re invited to move in whatever way feels natural energised, meditative, expressive, or restful.
Suitable for everyone — no prior dance experience needed. Just come as you are!
The Evening Flow
6:30pm – Doors open
Arrival music to stretch, land, and settle into the space.
7:00pm – Opening circle & optional warm cacao
A gentle welcome and introduction to Ecstatic Dance. A warm cacao drink will be available for those who would like one — a simple way to arrive, soften, and connect.
7:15pm – Ecstatic Dance journey (1hr 45 mins)
A curated music journey led by Josh, with light guided embodiment to help you drop into movement and expression.
9:00pm – Integration (15 mins)
Time to rest, lie down, and absorb the experience.
9:15pm – Closing circle (15 mins)
We’ll gather in a circle to reflect, share, or simply be together, to honour the shared experience and gently transition into the weekend.
9:30pm – Finish

The Space: Etna Centre, London
A beautiful, welcoming space in East Twickenham, the Etna Centre is perfect for our Ecstatic Dance evenings. Open, light-filled, and grounded, it allows you to move freely, connect with yourself, and feel held in community.
A Note on Resistance
If you’re feeling a pull to come but also a little nervousness… that’s completely normal. Most people come alone and many don’t know anyone beforehand. Everything in the evening is an invitation, never an expectation. You’re free to move however you like whether energetically, gently, or simply rest. Simply be wherever you are, your presence on the dance floor is enough.
Welcoming Parents
We know childcare isn’t always easy, and we want to support parents to access this space. Children may attend with a parent/guardian, but the dance floor is for adults only. Parents remain fully responsible for supervision of their children at all times. Looking ahead, we also plan to open up some daytime Ecstatic Dance sessions, creating more opportunities for parents and carers to pause, move, and restore.
Special Offer — 20% Off Until the Beginning of March
Early Bird tickets are available now! Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and nourishing.
