A Nourishing Retreat for Highly Sensitive Souls
Savour delicious organic vegan food at our June retreat in Devon.
Are you ready to recharge, reconnect, and rejuvenate in a space created specifically for Highly Sensitive People? If so, then Jules De Vitto and I would love to see you at our annual HSP Retreat at Selgars Mill, Devon (12-15th June 2025).
Our retreats are designed specifically for Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) and draw an amazing group of participants from around the world, from all age groups. (Last year, we had participants aged from 18 to 80).
We offer a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded souls, engage in holistic well-being activities, and be your authentic self in the beautiful surroundings of Selgars Mill in mid-Devon — a converted 19th century millhouse set in eight acres of secluded grounds in the Culm Valley.
One of the standout features I’m very excited about for this retreat in particular will be the delicious, organic food. The food at our retreat is more than just fuel; it’s an integral part of your journey into relaxation and restoration.
Meet Our Incredible Chefs
We’re thrilled to have two culinary experts bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion for healthy eating, sustainable sourcing, and wild food foraging:
Peter "Chippy" Grant: is a seasoned vegan chef with a passion for holistic wellness, with 15 years of experience in catering events, retreats, and festivals and private cheffing worldwide. The former head of food at the Medicine Festival, Chippy is known for his creative, eco-friendly approach to cooking. You can find a short film here showcasing Chippy and his philosophy.
Bogdan Theo: A talented chef with over 17 years of experience working in prestigious central London and Mayfair restaurants. Now he brings his expertise to a more nature-focused retreat and festival settings with his deep knowledge of herbalism and fermentation, Bogdan’s approach to food is all about balance, healing, and flavour.
As co-founders of Nature's Pantry, an eco-conscious catering company, Chippy and Bogdan specialize in creating dishes that not only delight the tastebuds but also nourish the body and soul. Their menu reflects a blend of wild, seasonal ingredients and vibrant, holistic flavours.
A Feast for the Senses
Expect to be wowed by dishes that incorporate locally-sourced, organic produce—many of which are foraged from the surrounding countryside. The menu will be thoughtfully crafted to support your wellbeing, providing you with the energy and balance you need during your time at the retreat.
From nourishing breakfasts to wholesome lunches and delicious dinners, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be included during your stay. Each meal will be a celebration of the Earth’s natural offerings. Here are some of Chippy and Bogdan’s previous creations:
Why Food Matters on a Retreat
The food you eat directly impacts your physical and emotional well-being, especially when you’re taking time out for personal reflection and relaxation. We truly believe in the power of food to heal, restore, and enhance your retreat experience. Every dish will be made with care, with respect for the ingredients, and a deep understanding of how food nourishes the body.
