Why An HSP Retreat?
As HSPs, we know just how important it is to come together in community and connect with like-minded people.
That’s why we’re so excited to offer this unique opportunity to engage in holistic well-being activities; connect more deeply with our authentic selves; and experience how it feels to be nourished by a safe and supportive group.
And don’t worry: All activities are optional, and we encourage everyone to take time to immerse themselves in nature to rest, relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings.
Daily Schedule
The scheduled events will vary each day but include the following: ecstatic dance, sound baths, breathwork, nature activities, wild swimming, singing, yoga, meditation, workshops on making the most of the gifts that high sensitivity brings, sharing circles, and cozy fire-side gatherings in the evening. .

Healthy, Nutritious Vegetarian Meals
We’re delighted to announce that Leon Lewis, our inspirational, innovative plant-based guru, will be providing lunches and dinner throughout the retreat.
Leon will be serving delicious homemade vegetarian cuisine using healthy ingredients such as handpicked wild herbs; fresh fruit and vegetables; and high quality wholefoods. Gluten-free and dairy-free options will be available.
After working as a secondary school maths teacher, Essex-based Leon became a vegetarian caterer in 1980 and has fed hundreds of thousands of festival-goers with his incredible cuisine over the past 40 years.
I spoke to Leon over the weekend and he’s very excited to take part in the retreat before he goes on to cater at a slightly bigger event: Glastonbury Festival.
I can vouch for Leon’s food as I've enjoyed it many times on other retreats. It’s so delicious, nutritious, fresh and made with a lot of love. ❤️ :
Breakfast: We will serve a light breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, porridge, toast and other sundries.
Lunches: Nut roast, pies, quiches and salads.
Dinners: Vegetarian curries and pilao rice with side dishes, risotto, ribollita, ratatouille and breads with bruschetta toppings.
Desserts: Fruit crumble, strawberries, baklava and chocolate cake.
Leon is well known in Essex for his mushroom foraging walks. He may be able to organise a foraging walk if the weather is favourable.
A Retreat Designed For And By HSPs
As an HSP, I know how much resistance I’ve often felt in the past to anything involving groups. HSPs tend to dread small talk, and we don’t like being herded into activities, or constantly asked “are you okay?”
None of that will happen at the Quadrangle.
At the same time, I have had some of my most profound experiences at retreats where I’ve had a chance to recharge my system at a deep level; connect with like-minded people; and explore deeper conversations than you tend to get at the pub.
Jules and I are curating this retreat specifically to appeal to HSPs from any stage of life — from student to retired. Men and women are coming; introverts and extraverts — it’s for anyone and everyone.
We’ll be running sessions on many of the core themes covered in The HSP Revolution — such as managing our energy; self-compassion; setting boundaries and whatever aspects of sensitivity you’d like to own and embody more fully.
We’ll create an accepting environment where you can take time to recharge on your own if you want — taking advantage of the beautiful woodland, huge lawn and wild swimming in a groundwater-fed chalk stream. There are steps leading down into the clean water — both from the forest garden field, and the vegetable garden.
